It’s been a while… After two years away, spending time with my daughter Isabel Rose I’ve realised the time is right to return to the world of food and events, and it’s great to be back!
I have joined forces with D&D London to create Alexander & Björck — a boutique catering and event company. I am so excited to be starting this journey again, and since launching 10 weeks ago we have already hosted some spectacular events for both old and new friends.
The plan is to create some absolutely fabulous events, imbued with luxury, elegance and flair, offering international flavours with a little Scandinavian twist.
And as for this email, it’s the first issue of the A&B Journal, a bi-monthly update on what we’re up to, what we’re into and a chance to learn a little more about the team, including the ever-elusive Alexander…
In this issue we’ve persuaded one of the world’s leading bar consultants Douglas Ankrah, to share the recipe for his most famous creation, the Porn Star Martini, just in time for the party season! I’ve also shared my own recipe for a more traditional tipple, Swedish Glӧgg.
