US Embassy’s Independence Day celebration

Every year, the U.S. Ambassador’s official residence in Regent’s Park hosts the Embassy’s Independence Day celebration, which brings together 2,000-2,500 of the Embassy’s most important contacts, including government, business, media and cultural leaders, for an outdoor party.

This event is the highlight of the Embassy’s calendar and has become a fixture on the summer social scene for many of their high-profile contacts.

Last year’s theme was a classic garden party with a 1920’s twist. The ‘Roaring ‘20’s’, was a time of freedom, liberation, and cultural movement, so we wanted guests to feel welcome and relaxed at Winfield after a year of tough restrictions for us all.

Alongside 6 independent food trucks positioned around the garden, we served the VIP’s on the terrace a bespoke American menu including classics like Boston crayfish rolls, Iowa mushroom and corn tortillas and Nebraskan beef sliders.

We also ran bars for other partner brands including our friends at Nyetimber, Brown Forman, Campari, Budweiser, Fever Tree and Jackson Family wine.

The evening concluded, as always, with the most spectacular of fireworks, really setting the tone for what turned out to be a fabulous event season.
