WHITE TOWER – Evening hire only
At the centre of this ancient fortress and World Heritage site is its oldest and most recognisable building – the White Tower. The King’s Great Hall on the first floor is a truly special space for dinners and receptions, and a magnificent experience at night. Adjoining rooms hold vast displays of armour belonging to English kings including Henry VIII and Charles I.

ROYAL REGIMENT OF FUSILIERS – Day and evening hire
When this prestigious space is not hosting a regimental function for the Fusiliers it is available for your important occasion. With splendid oil paintings of venerable field marshals and historic displays of regimental colours, this refined venue also offers a wonderful vantage point for the White Tower and the Waterloo Barracks. Objects of interest include a brass deck plate recovered from HMS Antelope, sunk in 1982 in the South Atlantic, and regimental colours embroidered by Queen Charlotte and her daughters.

ST THOMAS’S TOWER – Evening hire May to September
Built over 700 years ago, these chambers were part of the Tower’s residential area. The tower once looked out over the river and spans the infamous Traitor’s Gate. Receptions can be held in the unrestored hall, a fascinating archaeological record of the building’s history. Dinners are held in the king’s colourful bedchamber, with its grand fireplace, four poster bed and King Edward I’s oratory – the little ‘chapel over the water’.

WAKEFIELD TOWER – Evening hire May to September
This wonderful, vaulted room was originally created as part of Henry III’s lodgings and was probably used by the King as a private audience chamber. On a fine summer evening, guests spilling out onto the Wall Walk will enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the White Tower, Tower Bridge and the River Thames.

THE JEWEL HOUSE – Evening hire and pre-opening
No experience of the Tower is complete without seeing the Crown Jewels: the world’s most valuable array of crowns, coronation regalia and jewels. The fabled collection lies secure behind 2,000kg vault doors, but before passing through guests can enjoy a reception in the spacious Hall of Monarchs. Most of the gold and silver-jewel encrusted pieces on display are the objects used at the coronation of a sovereign. Some were created for Her Majesty the Queen’s coronation in 1953. St Edward’s Crown is considerably older — it was made in 1661.
